FAN FILMS

Engineers are mysterious, industrious—and evidently adorable. Animator TimotheosFraser delights us with the tale of Buoyant Enough, an Engineer whose free-floating spirit won't be kept down (or up too high). For a double dose of Covenant cuties, check out Getchi the Jackal's disastrous driving lesson.

Part kill compilation, part soundscape, and all avant-garde. Stockholm is both montage and homage to Halo 3’s theater mode, featuring an opening credits sequence straight out of 70’s Italian cinema and a pastiche of absolutely kino kills. Starring N00bSlayer, Puba, Behr, and Zhestal with help from countless contributing montagers, Stockholm goes down smooth like a Killtacular on Energy Sword Sunday.

For the latest entry in their “Spartan Force” fan series, GonXxo created this painstakingly realized stop-motion video of an alliance between Spartans and the Arbiter using Halo Mega Construx figures.

The Arbiter speaks to a dying Elite comrade. Rendered with Mega Construx figures.

Flipbriks525 recreates a pivotal moment from the Halo 2 campaign mission "Uprising"—when the Arbiter Thel 'Vadam discovers the treachery of the Brutes—with Halo Mega Construx figures.

This machinima by MellohYelloh illustrates the many benefits of arriving late to the group photo.

Enjoy the rest of the gallery with musical accompaniment! This cover of “Under Cover/In Amber Clad" by Malleyricon delights with a sampling of face-melters and synthy grooves.

Ianpestyart shared a tribute to the luckiest Spartan, seen here in his modern Mjolnir armor against a backdrop inspired by the cover art of Halo: Combat Evolved.

From Ian’s post: “Whenever possible I look to illustrate a subject that has had a profound effect on me as a creative and as a person passionate about games & movies. Halo is one of those.”

Master Chief carrying a Plasma Rifle and a Battle Rifle, as seen in a worn encyclopedia entry. Three entries read as follows: 1. "Spartan-117: The Master Chief: The Master Chief is the last of the elite SPARTAN-II soldiers. These genetically superior, highly trained super soldiers stand easily 7 feet tall and, in MJOLNIR Mark VI powered assault armor, weigh almost 1,000 pounds. Spartan-117 is an expert in all weapons and combat systems and can run faster, jump higher, and hit harder than any normal human. Honed by years of battlefield experience, he has an unparalleled natural talent for war." 2. "Battle Rifle BR55: Fires 9.5mm rounds from 36-round magazine. Mounted with a 2X optical scope for targeting. Fires in short, automatic bursts of 3 rounds. Very accurate, relatively high rate of fire makes it a useful all-around infantry weapon." 3."Plasma rifle: Core power output: 100–150 kV : 2-3 dA/ This is a directed energy weapon. It is capable of either semiautomatic or automatic fire (click and hold the left mouse button for automatic fire). Continuous rapid fire overheats the weapon—this in turn depletes the weapon's power core. We currently do not understand how to replace or re-charge a power core. Note: This weapon will deplete its energy source as you use it. It is wise to replace it as often as possible."

Rythaze displays an encyclopedic interest in the subject of this slick digital painting.
