Spotlight: July 18, 2024
With the year seeming to pass at faster-than-light speed, it's time to take a moment to sit back and take in some of the amazing new creations Halo fans have been concocting over the last month.

CRÈME DE LA CRÈME
BeansAndEgg has devised a triptych of glorious pieces for the original trilogy that evoke certain wallpapers you likely had on your computer back in the early '00s. Grab the 4K versions from each tweet below!
Speaking of the early '00s, mackybtw has posted this gorgeous illustration which strongly evokes the art of Lorraine McLees. Feels like this would be the perfect avatar or profile banner for the old Halo forums!
ToastyGhostey has cooked up a visual feast, depicting a wonderfully stylized scene of the Master Chief and the Arbiter battling Covenant forces on a Halo ring.
PURPL_MUNKII is taking us to a place that sits somewhere between the end of the Halo: Landfall live action shorts and the start of Halo 3, where the Chief has fled the Forerunner keyship after a failed attempt to assassinate the Prophet of Truth and he lands in the jungles of East Africa.
B_does_stuff is representing the awesomeness of Anvil Station as an element of the Halo universe. (Stay tuned for that Waypoint Chronicle we teased next week!)
Closing very much as we started (coming full circle, if you will. Like some kind of ring-shaped struct-- y'know what, never mind), HelgiPootis is also keen to bring us back to 2001 with this awesome illustration of the Master Chief and Cortana—or, as he affectionately names them in his post, John Halo and Siri.

The wizard gnome has been showing up in all sorts of places, this video from magpieleon shows that he's even turned up in Halo Infinite!
