Spotlight: October 24, 2024
Another month, another round-up of awe-inspiring community creativity.
The October Spotlight has arrived!
CRÈME DE LA CRÈME
2204Design kicks us off this month with this stunning and stylish piece of Carter-A259 helping a wounded ODST through a ruined battlefield under a spotlight.
AlexB207Swag follows up with a gorgeous illustration of two Halo 3-inspired Spartans. And yes, the Security helmet is still the best helmet!
EtherealEOD brings us back to Halo: CE. The Covenant are boarding the ship, danger lies around every corner, the Marines are holding out as best they can... but, y'know, it's Halo. A Spartan's gotta admire the scenery!
IdealRonyL continues his streak of depicting the awe-inspiring majesty of the Forerunners with this recreation of the shield world interior from Halo Wars. The UNSC Spirit of Fire bears witness to an armada of Sojourner-class dreadnoughts ready to turn the tide of the war.
itsbasilbasil brings us a scene of Fernando Esparza regaling Blue Team with a story, or a joke. What d'you think he said?
nt_xander has served up this delightful pixellated scene of the Master Chief trudging through a serene forest on a Halo ring. One can never tire of a vista such as this...
nt_6il has chibi-ified Noble Team. Somebody help Jorge!
__SoSilly__ has been so silly and made this utterly wonderful line-up of Halo Infinite's armor cores based on their aesthetic characteristics and quirks. Which one is your favorite?
Witch_Priscylla knows what it's all about. Arbiter Thel 'Vadam, a true knight in shining armor that has us all giggling, twirling our hair, and kicking our feet.
zsarakin has shared a bunch of her art and I am simply in love with these bold illustrations!
VALIANT VIDEOS
suddenlyoranges brought his cat to Halo: Combat Evolved. "If I fits, I sits" applies to digital realms too, it seems...
Galactic_Armory has tested the resilience of a Flood infection form against the power of a modern human flamethrower. Time to cook some popcorn!
BIRTHDAY BOYS
Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST celebrated their seventeenth and fifteenth birthdays respectively in September, so here are some awesome art pieces related to those games.
HAPPY HALOWEEN
Operation: Haloween is upon us, and Halloween itself is just days away! Get into the mood with some spooky scary Spartans.
HARUSPINE HANDICRAFTS
CapnSherman found Noble Six. No, they were not in a cave—they were touching grass. (Of course, this must've been pre-Reach, otherwise they'd be touching glass...)
EmperorFrosty is making that combination of YOROI and Mark VII absolutely sing with this moody cosplay.
HardcoreHalo is out 'n' about for a walk in the woods. Helljumper, helljumper, where you been? (Feet first into hell and back again!)
NatureVegetable7966 has 3D printed a whole Spirit dropship and-- uh oh, why is it deploying Covenant forces? That's not a real plasma pistol is--
NightGhost1 has a whole line-up of Halo miniatures, be sure to check 'em out.
Nobleclonetroop caught Noble Six posing with a DMR. Their look suggests to me that they are displeased with the bloom.
Sierra720 can haz recon, and looks like he walked straight out of Halo 3 itself!
TimotheosFraser concludes this section with perhaps the most adorable Unggoy you have ever seen.
