Join us at Esports Stadium Arlington on April 18-20 as OpTic Gaming hosts the 2025 Kickoff Major! From the 4v4 open bracket to the many side tournaments on offer, there will be much for Halo fans and competitors to sink their teeth into.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The 2025 season will feature the tried-and-true HCS Major format.
- 64-Team Open Bracket
- 16-Team Pool Play
- 12-Team Champ Bracket
Open Bracket
- Open Bracket will start and end on Friday April 18th
- Top 4 teams will advance to Pool Play
Pool Play
- 4 Pools of 4
- Single Round Robin
- 1st/2nd in Pools go to Winners Round 1
- 3rd in Pools go to Lower Round 1
- 4th in Pools is eliminated
Championship Bracket
The Championship Bracket is where the best of the best will clash for their share of $250,000 and a paid trip to the next HCS LAN event - the DreamHack Dallas Open!
- 12-Team Double Elimination
- Top 4 teams will lock in their seeds at DreamHack Dallas.
$250K 4V4 PRIZE BREAKDOWN
- 1st: $100,000
- 2nd: $60,000
- 3rd: $30,000
- 4th: $17,500
- 5-6: $8,000
- 7-8: $5,000
- 9-12: $2,500
- 13-16: $1,625
HOW TO QUALIFY
Teams will qualify for the HCS Arlington Major in (2) ways: Major #1 Qualifiers, or HCS Point Totals.
- NA/EU teams will compete for Pool Play spots in their Major #1 Pool Play Qualifier.
- MX/ANZ teams will compete for Travel Coverage in their Major #1 Open Bracket Qualifier.
HCS Open Series: Road to Arlington
The HCS Open Series will take place in all regions as teams stack up HCS Points ahead of the Major #1 Qualifiers.

Following the HCS Open Series, teams from all regions will battle it out in their respective Major #1 Qualifiers for Pool Play seeds and/or Travel Coverage to compete in the Open Bracket!

Travel Coverage
Additional teams from each region will earn Travel Coverage to compete in the Arlington Major Open Bracket!
- NA: 3rd Highest HCS Points (After Qualifier)
- EU: 2nd Highest HCS Points (After Qualifier)
- MX: Winner of MX Open Bracket Qualifier
- ANZ: Winner of ANZ Open Bracket Qualifier
$5,000 FFA TOURNAMENT
The $5,000 FFA Tournament returns and will be open to all event attendees. Registration will take place on site!

HCS SIDE EVENTS
Attendees will have the chance to compete in side tournaments featuring various Halo titles! Registration will take place on site and will be first come, first served.
