A high-stakes symmetrical map for settling ancient grudges. High in the jagged peaks of Sanghelios, the red and blue temples of an unnamed cult have been turned into bases for opposing factions. Furnished with ascetic sleeping quarters, imposing statuary, and the delicate tweets of songbirds, you could almost feel zen about getting rekt in a 4v4.

Set at a UNSC outpost on a deserted isle, this map lays bare all approaches to scratch that beachhead itch. The exposed tropical surroundings revolve around a sleepy scanning station, whose lone open window is perfect for picking off attackers as they cower behind that Pelican on the tarmac.

A painstaking remake of The Rig from Halo 5, this map is a masterclass in forced confrontations. Open expanses, clear sightlines, and cloistered underpasses offer a glimpse into the hard and ever-changing realities of life on the rig. Nobody tell head office about those pitfalls between platforms…

They paved paradise and put up a parking lot—with convenient access to highways, druidic ruins, eight lanes of cheerful checkouts, and near-infinite easter eggs inside a fully realized big-box store. This map is a love letter to the “iconic American” retail experience, where excessive detail is matched only by its detailed excesses.



Try marauding through the sporting-goods section in a 10v10, or getting lost in the aisles during a game of hide and seek.

MOBA fans, rejoice! HOBA Hidden Valley pits you and your Grunt allies against a constantly spawning horde of foes in a roamable expanse filled with goodies. Your team earns points by dropping enemy Grunts or Spartans. First to 100 points wins the round, and the first team that wins three rounds claims victory.



If you’re brave enough, you can end the round instantly by assaulting the enemy’s AI-construct champion.

This is not your grave—provided you can jump out of the way in time. This creepy-crawly and ludicrously fun mode by <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TwA7lG__ac" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Forgers del Apocalipsis</a> pits a team of ‘goose riders against one massively mobile Gravemind. Use marking to leap the rampaging villain, and beware new obstacles dropped by the ‘mind himself.



Survive enough rapid heats, and you might live to write a poem about it.

You and up to 23 of your fellow Spartans (but preferably 2-8) can jump into this PvE mode and bust some bunkers as you try to prevent the Banished from taking hold of the UNSC tech at the end.

We’re always on the lookout for new and exciting Forge content created by the community and as we head into 2025, next year is no different. Escape from captivity and fight your way through a Banished ship. The design for this custom campaign level is jaw-dropping, right down to the illusion of movement as the Banished vessel passes over alpine trees below.

“Stunning” is the only word that comes to mind checking out this asymmetrical map. Everything about this map is pleasing to the eye and serves as a brilliant reminder of how powerful Forge is.

It’s tag meets hot potato as the player that is “It” has the skull and needs to melee someone else to pass it off. Use your mobility skills (sometimes you have a thruster, sometimes a grappleshot) to evade and avoid being caught with the potato when the timer reaches zero.

Long Night of Solace is a beloved mission from Halo: Reach, and you can experience a stunningly extensive recreation of the infiltration of the Ardent Prayer made in Halo Infinite’s Forge! You’ll start off on the corvette’s hull and fight your way in, moving to take the hangar, weapons stations, and eventually the bridge.



Grab some friends and play this map with Firefight: King of the Hill—make sure you set “SEQUENTIAL SETS” to true in the mode options (appears specifically under the Firefight options category) for a true linear experience.

Many would argue that Sandtrap is the perfect map for just about any mode, and they would be right—something that Okom1’s Sandtrap Firefight only goes to show further by bringing PvE to this beloved classic location.

A great small-sized map for those intimate 1v1 standoffs, 2v2 doubles, and 4v4 team matches—don’t feel bad if you end up getting killed because you’re just staring in awe at the rather horrifying monster in the distance!

Citadel released back in 2009 alongside Halo 3: ODST, which included the second part of the Mythic Map Pack. But where Citadel’s debut in Halo 3 was visually defined by its warm tones and golden light shining through, NEMEZIS has seen fit to explore what the map looks like as a frozen, decaying ruin.

Who knew there was a “most beautiful Halo map ever” competition going on because Stormlight is absolutely a prime contender for it! This BTB map is set under an enlarged hologram of our galaxy projected by a central Forerunner structure surrounded by verdant, rocky terrain—a true “war in heaven”-type location that perfectly fits Halo’s tone and aesthetics.

Upon spawning into this map, you just might think that you’ve stumbled back in time to 2004. The aesthetic and design sensibilities of Halo 2’s Earth-based maps are all over Derailed (with a dash of some Halo 4 as well), the gamertag of the map’s creator comes as no surprise as it really would take a total legend to build this!

UneeQ is always turning out some absolutely stunning maps, and their latest endeavor is Serenity—a remake of Sanctuary, the timeless classic from Halo 2.



Scaled for Halo Infinite’s gameplay, Serenity supports all core modes and was built using recently added ancient and alien world-themed Forge palette objects.

These broken dreams have been restored with this remake of my personal all-time favorite map: Turf! There’s something about this map that I absolutely love—from the Warthog, to the downed Scarab, to the med tent… the routes are ingrained in my mind, and it feels like just yesterday my teammates and I were careening through the doors, hoping to splatter someone.

My first time on this map, the first thing I did was turn around and jump off the edge to see what happened. Anyway, I don’t recommend doing this when you 1v1 someone here, unless you like the additional challenge I suppose. You are the author of your own destiny, after all.

Glibnub might not think so, but I find shooting Grunts <s>are</s>at your friends via Rocket Launchers to be an absolute riot. Everyone should check out this crazy custom game and watch the chaos ensue. Grunts are literally flying everywhere and making folks fly everywhere. What could possibly go wrong? 



You truly have not lived until you’ve been chased by Grunts fired out of someone’s SPNKr.

Octagon 1v1s are common warmups for many players, but sometimes you want some variety in your octagons. Rather than saving a bunch of different size versions, this unique creation allows you to play at a variety of ranges and you can add/remove platforms around the maps—both at will. 



If you look up, you’ll notice some dice and a soccer ball. You start out on 1, the smallest map. You can increase the size by shooting the incrementally larger numbers. Shoot the soccer ball to add/remove the platforms as you desire.   



Regrettably, there is no switch to improve your K/D or aim—you gotta do that one on your own through good ol’ fashioned practice.

If you want to practice the aforementioned aiming, Aimlabs is for you. This has been a popular “game” on PC for people on mouse and keyboard, but now there’s a version built into Halo Infinite itself. You can work on your aim in a variety of rooms and scenarios with every weapon in the arsenal. From my time with it, I can confirm that my Shock Rifle skills are still subpar. 



If you want to do a combo of Aimlabs and an Octagon, you can do that too simply by interacting with the Octagon on the ground.

From the folks that brought you The Silent Cartographer and Assault on the Control Room recreated in Halo Infinite’s Forge comes another Halo: CE level—The Pillar of Autumn.



Get your targeting diagnostics and energy shields tested because you’re gonna need all the help you can get to repel enemy boarding parties, protect your fellow soldiers, and get to the escape pods to make ringfall! The placement of the enemies, the winding corridors, even some of the additional details from Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is all here, and it’s a delight to see just how much love was put into this experience.

A particularly cool detail is that the walls around you are perpetually moving upwards, making it feel like you really are descending into the substructural belly of the beast.

I could tell you lots of cool things about this map, but my neurons started firing with excitement at a great recreation of a damaged Locust from Halo Wars in the city streets along with a Scarab. That alone is worth a bookmark!

Red Nomster has made a turn-based tabletop game using Halo Infinite’s Forge… yes, you read that right.



Through the mark system and approximately 1400 scripting nodes, up to 8 players (4v4 max, 2v2 recommended, 1v1 if you want to settle things in the arena) can experience Halo Infinite as they never have before.

We knew that Halo Infinite’s Forge would be able to create some truly jaw-dropping stuff, and that the ambitions of community cartographers would push the boundaries of what even we believed possible… and here’s another such example, as the entire Halo: CE mission Assault on the Control Room has been remade.



Split into two parts, this is the mission just as you remember it—eerie, repeating Forerunner corridors, bridges over vast mountainous walls, vast snowy landscapes, Scorpion tank carnage… it’s all been recreated down to the smallest detail in enemy encounters.

At the start of Halo Infinite‘s campaign, the UNSC Infinity is ambushed by the Banished at Zeta Halo. Take the fight to the hangar bay and capture the hills in order to reclaim humanity’s flagship from the alien invaders.

I must admit that my jaw dropped as I explored this map. It just kept going… and going… and then there was another level above, and then that kept on going…



With battlecruisers hanging in the skies overhead, Banished forces dropping into the caverns below to guard a sunlit Forerunner beam tower, and multiple flags to capture, this is the perfect staging ground for some PvPvE CTF action.

The orbital tether is something of an iconic element of the Halo universe, though all of their most memorable moments are when they collapse—seeing it fall in Halo 3: ODST, its structural skeleton scattered over the African plains as you head to Voi in Halo 3, and who could forget that harrowing sequence at the turning point of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.



This tether, though, remains intact. In this sprawling complex built around the space elevator, you can unleash some BTB chaos with your friends.
